About the Role
As a Grab 'N' Go Prep, you'll support our food service team by preparing fresh meals, chopping produce, and ensuring quality standards are upheld. From soups to salads, your work helps create convenient, wholesome options for our customers. You will be an essential part of a fast-paced kitchen setting, contributing to the daily flow of fresh food while maintaining a clean and organized work area in line with health department regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare fresh meals according to established recipes and daily prep lists
- check_circleChop vegetables and fruits to assemble cold entrees and side dishes
- check_circleStore and rotate leftover food properly to prevent spoilage
- check_circleTest food temperatures and follow food safety standards
- check_circleStock cold line with prepped vegetables and replenish items as needed
- check_circleMaintain a clean and organized work area in line with health department regulations
- check_circleCommunicate product shortages and equipment issues to the manager
- check_circlePrepare soups, cornbread, and biscuits while refilling items as needed
Requirements
- verifiedExperience in commercial food prep or food service preferred
- verifiedUnderstanding of basic cooking techniques for hot and cold food
- verifiedFamiliarity with food safety standards and health codes
- verifiedExperience using commercial kitchen equipment is a plus
- verifiedAble to read, understand, and follow recipes in English
- verifiedVerbal proficiency in English and basic written communication
- verifiedBasic math skills for food measurements and calculations
- verifiedMust be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Nice to Have
Experience in commercial food prep or food service. Experience using commercial kitchen equipment.
