About the Role
As a Kitchen Manager at Chickie's & Pete's, you will oversee the entire day-to-day operation of the kitchen, serving as the backbone of our service. This role is critical to ensuring that our guests receive high-quality food in a timely, sanitary, and welcoming environment. You will supervise kitchen staff, manage inventory and food costs, and act as the primary liaison between the kitchen and the General Manager.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of leadership and hands-on execution. From preparing daily production lists and assigning stations to maximizing productivity and minimizing waste, you will ensure every station remains stocked and organized. You will actively participate as a member of the management team, managing staff scheduling to keep labor costs in line while maintaining a positive, respectful attitude. Whether you are acting as the expeditor to check food quality and presentation, facilitating communication to ensure coordinated service, or planning special menu offerings for parties, your focus remains on delivering an exceptional dining experience.
