About the Role
The Assistant Colorist at Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is a pivotal role designed to support Licensed Colorists and Shift Leads in delivering a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. This position is for those who love beauty and hair color, taking pride in helping guests find their perfect shade and executing services with precision.
You will serve as the expert on Madison Reed consultations, hair care products, shampooing, conditioning, blowout services, and the Unlimited Roots membership program. While learning and practicing these services, you will focus on connecting with guests and team members to foster a focused, friendly, and organized work environment. This role is a training ground for promotion to Licensed Colorist, typically within 3 to 9 months.
Reporting to the Manager, this position can be full or part-time depending on business needs and requires availability during peak times to best serve our guests. Requirements
- verifiedActive cosmetology license in the state of application
- verifiedEntry level experience in customer service or retail sales
- verifiedFluency in English
- verifiedComfortable operating point of sale systems
