As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be an expert of store process and efficiency, enabling a consistent experience for our guests. You will ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This role is vital for leading inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas.
No two days are ever the same, but a typical day involves creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging with them to solve specific needs. You will execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to achieve business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, and arranging merchandise. You will also support guest services such as digital fulfillment processes (picking and packing orders) and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
This role is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding environment where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem-solving are key. You will have the opportunity to learn retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends and inventory replenishment, while executing daily workloads to support sales goals.
