About the Role
This entry-level position serves as the foundational role within the plant, designed to develop versatile operators capable of supporting cleaning, filling, and utility functions across various areas. The role exists to ensure operational continuity and safety by providing flexible support to operations, maintenance, and supervision teams.
As a Utility Operator, you will be trained to fill multiple operator positions throughout the facility. Your day-to-day activities will involve a dynamic mix of tasks, including area housekeeping, equipment cleaning, product handling, and the movement of materials. You may be assigned to diverse operational environments, ranging from barge and rail operations to the movement of heavy machinery such as forklifts, skid-steers, and front-end loaders.
Success in this role requires a commitment to a zero-injury culture. You will be expected to strictly adhere to company safety procedures, maintain a professional image, and demonstrate a positive, respectful attitude at all times. While the role demands the ability to work independently, it also requires the flexibility to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
