General Production

About the Role

This position supports manufacturing and production operations within a large, 24/7 plastic extrusion facility. You will work a rotating first-shift schedule across multiple departments, including Knitting, Laminator, Roll Converter, and Extruder lines. Work Environment

Based in Saginaw, MI, this fully onsite role takes place in a modern, large-scale manufacturing facility that operates around the clock. The environment is active and production-focused, requiring employees to perform tasks around machinery and production lines. The work involves extended periods of standing, frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, and occasional work on stairs and catwalks at elevated heights.

Safety is a core component of the culture. Employees must wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel-toe or composite shoes. In certain departments, the use of a respirator is required. The facility utilizes specialized equipment such as laminators, knitting machines, roll converters, and extruders, all governed by structured safety and quality procedures.
