The Feeder/Folder is a vital part of our production team, responsible for handling, sorting, and inspecting clean textiles before they are folded or fed into machines for final processing and packaging. In this role, you will help ensure that all products meet our strict company quality and production standards before they reach our customers.
You will work directly with the Production Manager in an industrial laundry facility. Your day will involve sorting and grading clean textiles removed from carts or bins, ensuring they meet quality criteria. You will then fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand or operate ironing and folding machines according to specific production requirements. The role requires processing textiles by product type, following written packing instructions, and moving finished products onto conveyors or into carts for distribution. You will also be responsible for logging your production activity in the Spindle productivity tracking system.
This position involves physical tasks throughout the work shift. You will be standing and walking for extended periods, reaching overhead, and pushing or pulling carts and bins. The role requires the ability to grasp and handle textiles and lift up to 25 pounds, as well as stoop or bend as needed.
You will work in production areas that may include exposure to temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screening.
