General Manager

About the Role

This position is for a General Manager at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. While the franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, it is a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

You will work with your leader to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them. This role involves leading a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching to improve their departments. By improving the departments, the restaurant improves. You may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.
