The North Olmsted City Schools is seeking a General Maintenance Substitute with a specific focus on snow plow operations. This position serves as a critical support role within the Administration team, ensuring school facilities remain safe and accessible during winter weather and other emergencies.
The role requires a versatile individual capable of responding to building and service emergencies. While the primary focus may shift to snow removal during winter months, the position demands a broad skill set including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry expertise. The successful candidate will apply knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws to maintain school infrastructure effectively.
This is a substitute position with flexible hours, typically operating in one of two shifts: 2:00 AM – 10:30 AM or 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Candidates must be available to respond to emergencies as they arise.
