The Gas Section Manager serves as a pivotal leader within the Clearwater Gas System, providing professional, technical, and supervisory oversight for gas distribution operations, design, permitting, and safety training. This role exists to ensure the reliable and safe delivery of natural gas to the community while managing complex construction and maintenance projects.
In this position, you will coordinate daily operations and administration functions, acting as a bridge between field crews, engineering technicians, and regulatory agencies. You will manage the installation of gas mains and service lines, oversee cathodic protection maintenance, and direct the development of comprehensive safety and loss control training programs. As a project engineer, you will produce design plans, permits, and bid specifications, ensuring all work complies with municipal, state, and national gas codes.
