Sr. Right-of-Way Agent

About the Role

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a self-starter Sr. Right-of-Way Agent to join our team in Clarksburg, West Virginia. This role is designed for an independent professional capable of managing complex surface agreements and easements with minimal supervision. You will serve as the primary representative for our client, building and maintaining strong relationships with surface owners and local government officials while navigating the intricacies of pipeline rights of way operations.

Day-to-Day Impact

In this position, you will act with professionalism and integrity, often diffusing tense situations to ensure smooth negotiations. Your work involves establishing and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, negotiating terms for surface use agreements, and settling surface damages to secure necessary access to company assets. You will conduct both internal and external title research, interpret technical drawings such as alignment and property plats, and utilize mapping software to manage complex land data. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate multiple client databases and collaborate effectively within a team or independently.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position operating on a 6-day work week. The pay rate is a $350 daily rate for days worked, adjusted based on experience and technical capabilities. Additionally, the role includes a per diem of $178 per day, available 7 days a week. Comprehensive benefits including health, vision, and dental coverage are provided.
