About the Role
As a Teller I, you will be the first point of contact for customers walking into our branches or approaching our drive-thru. This role is central to our mission of providing exceptional banking services, requiring you to undertake a wide range of transactions while interacting directly with the community we serve.
You will be the face of the bank, greeting visitors warmly and guiding them through their financial needs. Your day will involve processing daily transactions such as receiving deposits, cashing checks, accepting loan payments, and disbursing cash with precision. Beyond routine transactions, you will identify counterfeit currency, exchange foreign currency, and assist customers with account inquiries, errors, and balances.
This position is dynamic and customer-focused. You will have the opportunity to explain, promote, and sell specialized products like cashier's checks and prepaid gift cards, while also handling administrative tasks such as ordering bank cards and checks. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount as you record all transactions promptly and balance your cash drawer daily.
Please note that this position is not eligible for remote work and requires an on-site presence. The role includes a Saturday rotation and may involve working the drive-thru, floating to other locations for coverage, or assisting with bank openings and closings.
