About the Role
In this position, you will serve as the frontline face of our practice. Your primary mission is to welcome incoming patients and coordinate the supportive functions of the office to maximize patient care outcomes and satisfaction. You will manage the doctor's schedule, perform insurance authorizations to render care, and handle critical administrative tasks such as scheduling surgeries with local operating rooms and submitting billing paperwork with correct codes.
This role requires you to be the first point of contact for callers, responding to questions and taking messages for the doctor. A key part of your day involves critically assessing patient circumstances to distinguish between emergencies and routine exams, ensuring appropriate triage and care. You will also be responsible for filing and preparing charts daily for the following day.
Candidates must demonstrate a cordial, helpful attitude toward patients while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. This position offers the option to become full-time.
