This position serves as a critical link in the patient care continuum, focusing on the logistical orchestration of surgical and medical services. You will be responsible for scheduling surgeries, diagnostic tests, procedures, and office visits while ensuring all necessary insurance authorizations are secured prior to care delivery.
Your day involves coordinating operating room availability, completing hospital reservation forms, and delivering physician orders for upcoming procedures. You will track medical clearances, gather essential billing information, and manage the transcription of reports and correspondence. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for phone inquiries and maintain accurate patient charts within the medical record.
As a member of the team, you will handle covered health information and confidential data.
