FedEx Freight is seeking a Freight Analysis Specialist to ensure the accurate application of company rules, regulations, and National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) standards. This role is critical for validating shipment characteristics and recovering revenue by reviewing dimensional scan data and identifying compliance issues.
You will serve as a bridge between operational data and pricing strategy, providing research to the Pricing department regarding shipper profiles. The position requires active participation in cross-functional meetings across office, operations, sales, dock, and driver teams to stay updated on process developments and foster high morale within the team.
This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced dock environment where you may be exposed to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise. The position involves physical activity, including the ability to climb in and out of trailers from ground level. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require working different shifts, weekends, and occasional travel.
