About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and driven Freelance Event Specialist based in Tampa, FL, to serve as our hands-on representative for upcoming in-person events. This is a builder role within a start-up tech environment, requiring an entrepreneurial spirit and extreme passion for our mission.
You will be the face of Visit.org on the ground, ensuring a high-quality customer experience for corporate partners, nonprofit organizations, and attendees. Your day will involve coordinating logistics, managing check-ins with a warm welcome, and solving problems on the fly—from missing supplies to technology challenges. You will align with the onsite team, event hosts, and venue staff to facilitate fun, engaging, team-building activities that support a great cause. After the event, you will handle breakdown, cleaning, and repackaging materials for shipping.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be currently based in Tampa, FL. This is a per-event contract role with no relocation packages offered. Interested applicants should demonstrate their ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and their capacity to manage complex, large-scale events as well as intimate executive gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
