About the Role
Oportun is seeking passionate individuals with customer service, cashier, sales, or hospitality experience to join our team as Member Loyalty Representatives. At Oportun, we view our customers as members, and the primary focus of this role is to create and generate a rewarding, unique service experience.
As a Member Loyalty Representative, you will be the face of our mission, educating members and communities about our inclusive, affordable financial services. You will connect with people at all touchpoints, both within our stores and in the surrounding communities through personal outreach activities. This role is ideal for those who are outgoing, sales-focused, and eager to help others build a better future.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleWelcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service
- check_circleSeamlessly process all transactions while following company policies and protecting member information
- check_circleConduct outreach at flea markets and partner locations to capture leads and assist with applications
- check_circleUse iPads and assist potential members with scanning QR codes to start new applications
- check_circleTravel between designated work locations and outreach sites as part of standard job duties
- check_circlePerform light housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning to maintain store presentation
- check_circleEducate potential members about Oportun's services through community outreach and local business engagement
- check_circleComplete administrative tasks and service member requests using computer systems for 3-6 hours daily
