Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSet up, operate, and tend presses and forging machines to taper, shape, or form metal
- check_circleRead work orders and blueprints to determine tolerances and machine setup sequences
- check_circleMeasure and inspect machined parts to ensure conformance to product specifications
- check_circlePosition and move work pieces through dies to compress and shape stock
- check_circleStart machines to produce sample workpieces and verify setups conform to specifications
- check_circleTrim and compress finished forgings to specified tolerances
- check_circleConfer with other workers regarding machine setups and operational specifications
- check_circleSelect, align, and bolt positioning fixtures, stops, and dies to rams, anvils, and presses
- check_circleTurn handles or knobs to set pressures, depths of ram strokes, and synchronize operations
Requirements

- verifiedAbility to read instructions and operate machinery
- verifiedU.S. Person status required
Nice to Have
1+ Years of related experience in manufacturing. Operating a forge press, or similar machinery.
