About the Role
The Food Technologist, Development Services serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for supporting the communication and release of technical documentation for formulae, ingredients, and finished products. Working under minimal supervision, you will provide critical support to R&D Developers, Quality, Procurement, Operations, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the correct, consistent, complete, and timely release of technical information.
In this role, you will leverage your knowledge in formula design, sensory and analytical testing, and product specifications to support commercialization scale-up opportunities that drive the company's financial goals. You will also represent the company externally in Trade Association committees and at industry conferences and events, acting as a bridge between our technical capabilities and the broader market.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent experience
- verified0-5 years food laboratory experience
- verifiedExperience in a food manufacturing or processing environment
- verifiedProficient knowledge of MS Excel
- verifiedBasic understanding of formula design
- verifiedGeneral understanding of food codes and regulatory guidelines
- verifiedKnowledge of Microsoft Office, R&D Project Systems (PCS, ORP), Legacy and JD Edwards software
- verifiedSix Sigma Certification preferred
- verifiedWorking knowledge of MicroStrategy preferred
