The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician serves as a vital link in our safety ecosystem, reporting directly to the Safety Manager. This role is designed for an individual who can exercise independent judgment while performing fundamental regulatory compliance functions, including OSHA, NFPA, and other health and safety programs.
You will operate across both the Pacific Cast Technologies and Selmet facilities in Albany, OR. Your day-to-day involves EHS surveillance, coordinating emergency response teams (CPR/First-Aid, spill, and confined space), and facilitating training events. Beyond immediate safety, you will assist the Environmental Manager with complex compliance programs such as the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Stormwater, and Air regulations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment where they can actively participate in preventive and corrective actions that protect both employees and the environment.
