About the Role

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician is a pivotal role designed to protect our employees and the environment while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will exercise independent judgment to perform fundamental compliance functions related to OSHA, NFPA, and other health and safety programs.

In this position, you will serve as a safety leader and representative, coordinating critical teams such as CPR/First-Aid, spill response, and confined space rescue. Your day-to-day involves administering safety training to new hires and existing staff, organizing emergency scenarios, and assisting in the development of standard operating procedures for life safety programs. You will work closely with plant managers and supervisors to provide access to safety resources, track incident metrics, and participate in root cause investigations to develop corrective actions. Additionally, you will support the Environmental Manager with compliance programs including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Stormwater, and Air regulations.
