The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician is a pivotal role within our safety team, reporting directly to the Safety Manager. This position is designed for an individual who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is passionate about fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to perform fundamental regulatory compliance functions, including OSHA and NFPA standards. Your day-to-day activities will involve EHS surveillance across our facilities, coordinating emergency response teams (CPR/First-Aid, spill, and confined space), and assisting the Environmental Manager with complex programs such as Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Stormwater, and Air compliance. You will serve as a bridge between management and the workforce, providing training, developing standard operating procedures, and supporting continuous safety improvement initiatives.
