The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician is a pivotal role designed to protect our employees and the environment while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will exercise independent judgment to manage fundamental compliance functions across our Pacific Cast Technologies and Selmet facilities.
In this position, you will serve as a safety leader, coordinating CPR/First-Aid AED teams, spill response, and confined space protocols. Your day-to-day involves administering safety training to new hires and existing staff, tracking incident metrics, and participating in root cause investigations to develop corrective actions. You will also assist the Environmental Manager with complex programs including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, stormwater management, and air compliance. This role requires a blend of independent initiative and teamwork to support plant managers in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace.
