About the Role
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician is a pivotal role within our Safety team, reporting directly to the Safety Manager. This position is designed for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to exercise independent judgment while ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will serve as a key EHS representative at both the Pacific Cast Technologies and Selmet facilities in Albany, OR. Your day-to-day impact involves a wide variety of duties related to EHS surveillance, including participation in preventive and corrective actions that protect our employees and the environment. You will work closely with the Environmental Manager on critical compliance programs such as the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Stormwater, and Air regulations. This role is not just about following rules; it is about leading change management for EHS compliance and safety improvement, helping to develop standard operating procedures, and fostering a culture of safety through leadership and training.
