About the Role
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician is a pivotal role designed to protect our employees and the environment while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will exercise independent judgment to manage fundamental compliance functions, including OSHA, NFPA, and other health and safety programs.
In this position, you will serve as a safety leader, coordinating CPR/First-Aid AED teams, spill teams, and confined space teams. Your day-to-day involves administering training to new hires, tracking incident metrics, and participating in root cause investigations to develop corrective actions. You will also assist the Environmental Manager with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Stormwater, and Air compliance programs, ensuring our facilities remain safe and compliant.
