About the Role

The Corrections Oversight Worker serves as a vital link in the food service operations within correctional facilities. In this role, you will supervise inmates to ensure that meal and food items are prepared in accordance with production plans, while also training workers in methods of performing duties and assigning work to promote operational efficiency. Beyond food preparation, you are responsible for the sanitation of the facility and maintaining personal safety by conforming to all standards and regulations. This position requires the ability to exercise good judgment and tact while motivating and supervising inmates and team members to attain quality and quantity of food production in a correctional environment.
