Food Safety & QA Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the Role

The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisor serves as a pivotal leader within our Food Production Plant, responsible for planning and directing activities that develop, apply, and maintain rigorous quality standards for our industrial processes, materials, and products. This role exists to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality compliance while driving operational efficiency.

In this position, you will manage the inspection, testing, and evaluation protocols that safeguard our production output. You will oversee the precision and accuracy of our production and analytical equipment, ensuring all facilities meet regulatory standards. A key part of your day involves directing teams engaged in measuring and testing products, analyzing data to resolve work problems, and coordinating with other supervisors to align departmental activities.

You will also play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety. This includes interfacing with internal trainers to develop training programs, suggesting changes to working conditions to enhance safety and efficiency, and maintaining strict adherence to hygiene and environmental requirements. By managing the Material Review Area and ensuring timely product distribution, you help maintain the integrity of our supply chain.

As a supervisor, you are expected to report all safety incidents within your area of responsibility and actively encourage a safe working environment for your team. You will ensure full compliance with BRC, HACCP, and GMP policies, as well as FDA and USDA regulations. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining excellent hygiene standards within the business unit, aligning with all regulatory, company, and customer requirements.
