Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCheck patients in and out following standard operating processes
- check_circleMaintain provider and physician on-call schedules as directed
- check_circleDirect patients to the Central Business Office for billing inquiries
- check_circleAnswer incoming calls and take necessary action promptly
- check_circleVerify patient eligibility and manage referral processes
- check_circleProcess insurance data and handle cashier collections
- check_circleSort and process incoming mail daily
- check_circleAdhere to HIPAA guidelines and internal communication reconciliation
- check_circleEnter and maintain accurate demographic data in the system
- check_circleManage office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- check_circleGreet and acknowledge patients while addressing their needs professionally
- check_circleSchedule, coordinate, and reschedule patient appointments across facilities
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- verifiedValid N.C. Driver's License
- verifiedReliable transportation
- verifiedBLS/CPR Certified (Preferred)
- verifiedExperience in Medical Office Administration (Preferred)
