About the Role
Based at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas, this onsite position serves as a critical support pillar for financial operations. You will maintain journals and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring the integrity of the accounting system by balancing and reconciling accounts. The role involves researching unusual financial situations or program problems, presenting findings, and advising on courses of action to resolve discrepancies.
You will work independently on projects requiring research and the preparation of briefing charts and presentation materials. This role is designed for individuals who can integrate into day-to-day Air Force Accounting FM processes and navigate complex DoD financial systems with precision.
Hiring Process & Requirements
This position requires an active T1 clearance or the ability to obtain one through AFSAT security processes, including a favorable 5-year history and fingerprint search. Candidates must also pass pre-employment qualifications administered by Cherokee Federal.
