About the Role
This Financial Analyst SME II position provides critical analytical and financial management support to Army programs. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of commitments, obligations, and disbursements across multiple systems. In this fast-paced government environment, you will leverage tools like GFEBS to identify discrepancies, resolve financial issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
Your day-to-day involves reviewing, reconciling, and reporting on financial data to maintain audit readiness standards. You will act as a bridge between various stakeholders, coordinating with DFAS, DCMA, Contracting Officers, and Budget Analysts to resolve complex financial discrepancies. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of Army programs and ensuring compliance with applicable policies.
