About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia, to support Cash Operations Closeout activities. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a critical link in our financial operations, responsible for the preparation, posting, and follow-up of interim and final invoices for a variety of contract types and customers, including Government and Civilian Agencies.
Your day-to-day work will involve determining the applicability of quick closeouts, negotiating with customers when necessary, and collecting internal reports to summarize total incurred costs. You will apply DCAA negotiated indirect rates, verify costs posted after the Period of Performance (POP), and calculate total claims including reimbursable costs and applicable fees. A key part of your mission is to reconcile payments received against calculated claims, prepare interim and closeout invoices with completed billing checklists, and coordinate with Finance and Contracts teams to resolve any issues discovered during analysis. You will also prepare release and assignment letters, input approved claims into financial systems, and participate in working groups that influence Closeout Policy and Procedures.
This role requires a candidate who is comfortable contacting customers directly to resolve issues, possesses strong critical thinking abilities, and is self-motivated. You will work independently while collaborating with Division Contracts and Legal teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
