As the Director of Sponsored Programs, you will serve as the strategic leader for all pre- and post-award activities across the CCSNH system. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is pivotal in driving resource development and ensuring the financial health of our research and grant initiatives. You will guide the system through the complexities of federal and private funding, transforming grant opportunities into sustainable resources for our colleges.
In this position, you will act as the functional process owner for grant-related activities within the Ellucian Banner ERP system. Your day will involve collaborating with college presidents and financial officers to identify funding sources, negotiate agreements, and develop robust budget structures. Beyond execution, you will shape the future of our grant management by formulating policies, overseeing audits, and providing the financial data necessary for strategic planning and risk management.
You will join the CCSNH Finance leadership team, a group responsible for the overall administration of financial systems, strategic planning, and resource development. Success in this role requires a balance of independent judgment and collaborative teamwork. You will supervise grants accounting staff, fostering a culture of professional development and regulatory excellence while maintaining harmonious working relationships with internal stakeholders and external officials.
