The Finance Supervisor Specialist serves as a pivotal support figure within the Welcome Center, overseeing general staff operations in accounting and payroll. This role is designed to ensure the seamless execution of financial processes, requiring a professional who can not only manage complex calculations but also troubleshoot and optimize workflows in both payroll and accounts payable.
The position demands a high degree of numerical aptitude and advanced proficiency in spreadsheet development using Excel. Beyond technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess a functional understanding of the concepts driving accounting and HR software packages. This role operates within a public school district setting, necessitating a strict adherence to State and Federal laws and regulations. Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The district provides training on specialized software applications to ensure success in the role. Candidates must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position and must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of themselves or others, with or without reasonable accommodations.
