The company currently manages a 1 GW pipeline in Mexico and projects to complete approximately $2 billion in new projects over the next four years.
This Financial Analyst position serves as a key contributor to Ecoplexus' U.S.-based project finance and development teams, with the flexibility to work remotely from the United States or from Mexico City. The role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, transaction-based environment where deadlines are dictated by deal flow.
In this position, you will gain comprehensive exposure to the lifecycle of solar power projects, from development and financing to construction and management. You will work directly with C-level executives and collaborate across finance, development, legal, and engineering teams. The role offers significant international exposure, bridging the US-based team with LATAM operations.
Your work will center on complex financial modeling and analysis for project acquisitions and development. You will model debt and tax equity financial structures, perform scenario testing on project economics, and manage project due diligence. A critical part of your day involves acting as a hub for information flow, organizing data for partners, and assisting in the negotiation and closing of project M&A, debt, and tax equity financings. You will also develop marketing materials and support relationships with existing partners.
