Ecoplexus Inc. is a rapidly growing renewable energy development firm headquartered in San Francisco, with additional offices in North Carolina, Dallas, Mexico City, and Tokyo. We are seeking a talented self-starter who is highly motivated and capable of assuming increasing responsibility within our dynamic growth environment. As an Associate based remotely in the U.S., you will assist our project finance and development teams by performing and coordinating financial analysis related to project acquisitions and development. Your work will involve modeling debt and tax equity financial structures and managing closing activities for project M&A, debt, and tax equity financings.
Your day-to-day will include modeling project economics, auditing analyst work products, organizing project due diligence, and managing relationships with lenders, tax equity investors, and consultants. You will coordinate with internal teams to support contract negotiation and closing processes. This is a transaction-based environment where requirements and deadlines are dictated by deal flow, requiring you to be resourceful, organized, and comfortable working in an unstructured, entrepreneurial setting. Candidates who demonstrate a solid understanding of project finance concepts, strong quantitative aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be invited to proceed. The process involves reviewing your background in renewable energy, private equity, investment banking, or transactional finance, followed by discussions on your experience with complex financial modeling and deal execution.
