Ecoplexus Inc. is a rapidly growing renewable energy developer with a robust track record of completing over 80 projects in the U.S. and internationally. The company currently manages a 1 GW pipeline in Mexico and projects to complete approximately $2 billion in projects over the next four years.
Based in the United States or Mexico City, this Financial Analyst position serves as a key contributor to Ecoplexus' U.S.-based project finance and development teams. The role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, transaction-based environment where deadlines are dictated by deal flow.
In this position, you will gain comprehensive exposure to the development, financing, construction, and management of solar power projects from the ground up. You will work closely with C-level executives and facilitate the internal flow of information between finance, development, legal, and engineering teams. The role offers significant international exposure, bridging the US-based team with LATAM operations.
Your work will involve modeling debt and tax equity financial structures, conducting project economics analysis, and performing scenario testing. You will organize and manage project due diligence, assist in the negotiation of project finance contractual agreements, and support the closing activities for project M&A and financings. As a detail-oriented owner of your work product, you will develop marketing materials for partners and manage project appraisal and cost segregation processes.
