Anduril's Deployment Operations group is the engine behind our Counter Intrusion team, dedicated to deploying and supporting our products globally. We operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking, tackling unpredictable challenges in unstructured environments. Our mission is to take ownership of delivering technical solutions, ensuring high availability and performance for critical defense systems.
As a Field Service Representative (internally known as a Technical Operations Engineer), you will join us in Costa Mesa to support military defense projects. This role is not eligible for remote or hybrid work. You will engage with products early in their lifecycle, working directly with engineering teams to iteratively improve them based on field realities.
You must embody the dual mindset of a teacher and a student. You will coach teammates on systems you have mastered while simultaneously learning new technologies. Your day-to-day involves guiding users through product employment and troubleshooting, advising account managers on operational structures for technical success, and communicating specific recommendations for product refinement back to engineering. You will be expected to travel to remote regions of the world for up to two months at a time, handling complex issues related to tower climbing, sensor equipment, and site infrastructure.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret/Secret clearance. B.S. in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, or related technical field. Prior tower climbing experience with relevant certifications (Tower Climbing, OSHA 10/30). Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and Linux command line interfaces. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Prior military or overseas contracting experience.
