Anduril's Deployment Operations group is the backbone of our Counter Intrusion team, dedicated to deploying and supporting our products in the most demanding environments on Earth. We operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking, ensuring our defense systems remain operational and effective wherever they are needed. Our mission is to deliver technical solutions in unstructured, unpredictable situations, working closely with engineering teams to iteratively improve our products from the earliest stages of their lifecycle.

About the Role

As a Field Tower Technician (internally known as a Technical Operations Engineer), you will be the first line of defense for our systems in the field. This is a Costa Mesa-based role that requires full-time onsite presence; remote or hybrid work is not eligible. You will travel to remote regions globally for extended periods, often up to two months at a time, to install, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure including sensors, radars, and power systems.

You must embody the dual role of teacher and student. You will coach teammates on systems you have mastered while simultaneously diving deep to master the next generation of technology. Your day-to-day involves guiding users through product employment, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, advising account managers on operational structures, and communicating specific recommendations for product refinement directly to engineering teams. You will take full ownership of delivering technical solutions, conducting root-cause analyses, and ensuring the high availability of our defense systems.
