As a Field Sales Representative III for DEKALB in Central/Eastern Ohio, you will serve as a key business consultant to retailers and dealers, effectively selling the value of Bayer Crop Science products. This role is designed to maximize services and sales to preferred growers and key customer accounts by collaborating closely with a squad of Field Sales Reps, Customer Business Advisors, Technical Agronomists, and Digital Enablement Leads.
In this position, you will act as the champion of Bayer brands, demonstrating proof of product performance against the competition through deep technical and agronomic knowledge. You will develop and implement dealer business plans, manage forecasting and inventory, and utilize data to drive strategic decisions. A significant part of your day involves traveling approximately 60% of the time to engage in daily face-to-face customer interactions, managing area claims, and proactively mentoring earlier-in-career representatives. You will lead the effort to grow market share in Crop Protection, Seed, and Trait businesses within your territory.
