The Key Account Manager (Hospital/Pharma) is a strategic role responsible for driving sales performance, protocol development, and contracting within key accounts across the Washington, D.C. territory and surrounding communities. This position exists to expand our GI Pharma platform by building deep relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in big hospital systems, clinics, and specialty pharmacies.
In this role, you will execute marketing strategies through carefully defined messaging and call sequences, leveraging business and value solutions based on evidence and outcome data. A significant part of your day involves collaborating with Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) hospital personnel regarding transition of care and discharge protocols. You will educate healthcare providers on the benefits of novel GI therapies, such as Vowst, and develop territory-specific business plans to foster a successful sales environment. The role requires conveying complex clinical and reimbursement information to stakeholders in a highly competitive marketplace while utilizing data systems to track activity and gather market intelligence.
