The Metro Practice Development Manager serves as a strategic partner to high-value healthcare providers within the Specialty industry. Based in the Philadelphia metro area, this role focuses on driving product adoption and engagement for CareCredit by building deep, in-person relationships with physician offices and practice owners. You will own a defined book of mid-to-large practices, prioritizing accounts and crafting practice-level strategies to support providers while achieving credit utilization goals.
This position is designed for a consultative sales professional who thrives in the field. Your day involves traveling up to 80% of the time to engage with office staff and doctors, ensuring they fully understand the CareCredit suite of financial products. Beyond sales, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping providers identify growth opportunities and navigate the complexities of patient financing. Success in this role requires a blend of industry acumen, territory management, and the ability to foster long-term client relationships that benefit both the provider and Synchrony.
At Synchrony, we are committed to building an inclusive culture where individual skills, experience, and voices are not only heard but valued. We are dedicated to creating a future where everyone can belong, connect, and turn ideals into action. More than 50% of our workforce participates in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), offering a safe space to learn and grow through community and shared passion.
We ensure all qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. We are proud to maintain an award-winning culture that supports diversity and inclusion at every level.
We offer flexibility in how we work. While this role is primarily field-based, our way of working allows for options to work from home near one of our hubs or come into an office when needed. Occasional commuting or travel is required for in-person engagement activities, business meetings, training, and culture events. We provide the tools and autonomy necessary to manage your territory effectively while maintaining the flexibility to balance professional and personal priorities.
To apply, please submit your resume and relevant experience through our career portal. We are looking for candidates who are solution-oriented and possess a strong background in consultative sales within the healthcare or wellness industry.
