About the Role
Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Field Consultant to support the Department of Defense Military OneSource program throughout the state of Mississippi. This role is based in Jackson, MS, and serves as a vital link between the Military OneSource program and the local military community.
The Military OneSource program provides service members and their families with unlimited 24/7 access to information, referrals, and counseling services both stateside and internationally. As a Field Consultant, you will drive program objectives by increasing awareness of these available services, facilitating access to critical resources, and identifying unmet needs within the communities you serve. Your work will involve extensive outreach, engagement, and coordination with local stakeholders to ensure the program maintains visibility into regional conditions and can adapt its services to better support participants.
In this field-based position, you will operate independently to support assigned geographic regions. You will tailor outreach efforts based on regional demographics and mission requirements, engaging with both military and civilian stakeholders to promote program awareness. A key part of your day will involve establishing professional relationships with resource providers and community organizations, collaborating with third-party programs to build coalitions, and connecting federal, state, and local resources to Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve families. You will also support unit and family staff through briefings, information sharing, and training, while documenting all activities and community data to support program reporting and visibility.
