The Family Enhancement Assistant delivers direct safety-related services under the direction of a Supervisor, working closely with DCFS Child Protection Specialists and Intact Family Services staff. This role focuses on teaching practical life skills, supporting safe parenting practices, assisting with household management, monitoring and implementing safety plans, and promoting family stability.
Services are designed to enhance household functioning, strengthen parenting capacity, and ensure the safety and well-being of children. You must be willing and able to safely enter and provide services in high-risk homes and community environments.
