Join a procedural, team-driven environment dedicated to supporting outpatient vascular and interventional procedures. This role focuses on hands-on clinical leadership within a predictable schedule, specifically excluding dialysis services. The Facility Administrator serves as the primary leader for the clinical facility, ensuring that all clinical, operational, and business objectives are met while maintaining a culture of trust, empowerment, and collaboration among staff.
You will act as the vital liaison between local dialysis clinics, the Access Center, and physician practices to optimize patient needs and business outcomes. The position requires a unique blend of administrative oversight and clinical awareness, ensuring that medical practices meet applicable standards and that the center complies with all governmental and regulatory bodies having jurisdiction.
Your day involves managing the intersection of patient safety, operational efficiency, and team leadership. You will oversee site employees, clinical processes, and workflow to deliver high-quality patient care. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to ensuring compliance with state requirements, licensure updates, CLIA, pharmacy requirements, and DEA anesthesia regulations.
You will lead the continuous Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Program, analyzing data to develop facility-specific action plans that achieve ASC quality standards. This includes managing general liability and risk exposures through regular assessments and ensuring adverse events are properly reported and documented.
Operationally, you will participate in Governing Body meetings, maintain compliance with CMS conditions for coverage, and review business and finances to optimize workflow and manage expenses. You will also collaborate with sales partners to identify new markets and engage with local dialysis clinics to provide education on available vascular access services for ESRD patients.
While the role is primarily administrative, it includes the potential to assist with patient care on an as-needed basis, adhering to professional licensure. You will lead, coach, and develop employees to optimize performance, driving engagement and retention while managing recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
