About the Role
This position serves as a critical support pillar for our operations, providing comprehensive equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC maintenance, repair, and support to assigned service calls. Day in the Life
Technicians in this role drive independently to various store locations daily, navigating electronic control interfaces to troubleshoot and repair systems. The work involves performing preventive maintenance, replacing compressors and large motors, and managing parts inventory. Success in this position requires a blend of technical skill and physical endurance, including the ability to work in varying temperatures, climb ladders, and lift up to 70 pounds. Communication with store personnel is key to preventing repeat calls and managing overtime effectively.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and EPA Type 2 Certification. The role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to read engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics, as well as their experience with control manufacturers' software and Microsoft Office.
