Schneider Electric is seeking an Export Jurisdiction & Classification Specialist to support our global export control program. Based in one of our hub offices in Nashville, TN, Monterrey, MX, or Raleigh, NC, this hybrid role ensures accurate and defensible classification determinations for products, software, and technology across international regulatory regimes.
You will serve as the regulatory foundation for downstream export control activities, including sanctions screening, licensing assessments, and technology transfer controls. By working closely with engineering, product management, and regional compliance teams, you will help integrate export control considerations into product development and lifecycle processes. This position is critical for enabling compliant global business operations while navigating complex regulations such as the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821.
Due to the nature of the controlled technology and data handled, access to certain systems and projects may be subject to regulatory restrictions based on citizenship or nationality. Individual technology control plans will apply to ensure full compliance.
At Schneider Electric, culture is the foundation of our success. We are looking for IMPACT Makers—exceptional people who turn sustainability ambitions into actions at the intersection of automation, electrification, and digitization. Our IMPACT values (Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, Teamwork) guide how we work and who we are.
As a global leader with €40 billion in revenue and over 150,000 employees in 100+ countries, we are committed to turning sustainability ambition into reality. Whether you are in engineering, product management, or compliance, your career can contribute to a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable world.
Schneider Electric aspires to be the most inclusive and caring company in the world. We mirror the diversity of the communities in which we operate, believing that our differences make us stronger. We provide equitable opportunities to everyone, everywhere, ensuring all employees feel uniquely valued and safe to contribute their best.
