The Trade Compliance Specialist serves as an integral part of the Trade Compliance team, working closely with the Director of Trade Compliance and the Legal Department. This role is designed to ensure the company adheres to its Trade Compliance program while navigating complex international regulations.
In this position, you will collaborate across all levels of management and cross-functional departments, including Program Managers, Designers, and Engineers, to develop trade-compliant solutions for technical situations. You will manage, audit, and provide training on approved export authorizations, process foreign travel requests, conduct denied party screenings, and handle technical data reviews. The role requires proactive ownership to make significant improvements to processes, ensuring efficient and compliant transactions while supporting external audits and inquiries from U.S. governmental agencies.

Bachelor's Degree or Trade Certification. Technical background for jurisdiction and classifications in hardware and software. Weld experience to support the production of simulators and training systems. Certified export compliance personnel. Ability to file Electronic Export Information (EEI) in the Automated Export System (AES). Experience with import/export shipment transactions.
