About the Role
As a Systems Specialist I, you will be the hands-on expert responsible for the installation of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems on new projects. This role is designed for someone eager to grow their technical skills while ensuring the seamless operation of building automation systems. You will work across various components of projects, performing troubleshooting to resolve issues and referring complex challenges to your supervisor.
Your day-to-day involves reading blueprints, pulling wires, and mounting devices according to engineering designs. You will coordinate with electrical contractors on-site, load panels with databases, and assist in the critical startup and calibration phases of automation systems. Beyond the technical installation, you will serve as the face of BCS during service calls, diagnosing defects in sensors and control consoles while maintaining professional relationships with clients at all levels.
