Schneider Electric is seeking an Export Jurisdiction & Classification Specialist to support our global export control program. Based in one of our hub offices in Nashville, TN, Monterrey, MX, or Raleigh, NC, this hybrid role ensures accurate and defensible classification determinations for products, software, and technology across international regulatory regimes.
You will serve as the regulatory foundation for downstream export control activities, including sanctions screening, licensing assessments, and technology transfer controls. This position works closely with engineering, product management, and regional compliance teams to integrate export control considerations into product development and lifecycle processes. Your work enables compliant global business operations by evaluating technical characteristics against the Commerce Control List (CCL) and international frameworks like the EU Dual-Use Regulation.
Due to the nature of the controlled technology and data handled, this role requires strict adherence to regulations such as the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Access to certain systems may be subject to regulatory restrictions based on citizenship or nationality, and individual technology control plans will apply.
At Schneider Electric, our culture is built on our IMPACT values: Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, and Teamwork. We are looking for exceptional people who turn sustainability ambitions into actions at the intersection of automation, electrification, and digitization.

We believe that our differences make us stronger, and we aspire to be the most inclusive and caring company in the world. We mirror the diversity of the communities in which we operate and ensure all employees feel uniquely valued and safe to contribute their best.
Our Trust Charter serves as our Code of Conduct, demonstrating our commitment to ethics, safety, and cybersecurity underpinning every aspect of our business.
To be considered for this position, you must submit an online application. This role will remain posted until filled. We look forward to learning about your journey and how you can contribute to our mission.
