As an Antenna Engineer (Automation), you will drive the characterization and verification of next-generation antenna products at Impulse Space. This role exists to bridge the gap between theoretical antenna design and real-world performance by establishing robust KPI frameworks and automating the data collection processes that validate them.
You will work across a wide spectrum of passive and active antennas for transmitters and receivers operating in bands from 1GHz to 30GHz. Your day-to-day involves collaborating closely with antenna, RF, test, and mechanical engineers to ensure our products meet rigorous specifications. You will design and own the metrics that define success, developing automated scripts to control complex RF test equipment and executing verification campaigns on early prototypes. Beyond data collection, you will analyze raw antenna pattern data to generate compliance reports and provide actionable advice to designers on improvement opportunities, ensuring seamless integration with satellite subsystems and coexistence across RF systems.
